Why we are changing candle containers... and what it means for you
If you’ve been following Scents of Salten from the early days, you probably remember the signature grey frosted jars; moody, elegant, and earthy, just like the North. They’ve been a big part of the brand’s visual story. But as we move into a new season, I wanted to let you in on a small change:
From now on, Scents of Salten candles will come in clear glass jars. 🌿✨
Why the switch?
This decision wasn’t taken lightly, but here’s why I’m excited about it:

Better availability. The grey jars were getting harder (and more expensive) to source consistently.

Seasonal versatility. The clear jars give a soft, neutral look that works beautifully across all collections — from summer florals to winter coziness.

A clearer glow. The flame shines more brightly through the transparent glass, making your space feel even warmer and more inviting.
Absolutely not.
The wax, scent quality, and small-batch care remain exactly the same. The only thing that’s changing is the outer vessel.

As always, this little business grows with you. These decisions allow me to keep creating locally inspired, hand-poured scents from right here in Beiarn in a way that feels sustainable, flexible, and still true to the heart.
